WITH a third of homes at a Prestatyn development now sold, homeowners are being offered the chance to speed up the selling and buying process.

Castle Green Homes is making good progress at Sŵn y Môr, where it’s building 45 new homes. They’re being sold “off plan” Peter Large Estate Agents with the two businesses co-hosting an event on Thursday, October 30 to help existing homeowners.

From 3pm to 7pm visitors to the Peter Large office on Meliden Road will be guided through the Easy Move and part exchange schemes.

Castle Green Homes sales director Sian Pitt explained: “Timber frames are currently being installed at Sŵn y Môr, which means it’s not currently practical to have potential purchasers on site. Once these are in place we’ll work on the superstructure, building the external walls and structural internal walls, before adding the roof. Work inside, including laying pipes and cables, which is known as first fix will start once watertight.

“We anticipate homes now on sale will be ready to move into this winter. People thinking of moving to a new home in Prestatyn may be tempted to wait until after Christmas to list their current property. Those who delay the process risk their property listing being lost among the Boxing Day bounce or that the home they want to buy is already sold by then. Working with Peter Large we’re offering a streamlined solution to selling and buying.  With Easy Move we’ll appoint an agent to sell the customer’s home within an agreed time frame and pay their fees. Sell and buy this way and there’s no link between the value of the homes being bought or sold. In some cases, where people are climbing the housing ladder we may even be able to offer part exchange.”

Sŵn y Môr offers a choice of two, three and four-bedroom homes, with current prices from £224,995 to £499,995. The homes are being built in a semi-rural location, on the fringe of Prestatyn town. Many of the properties overlook open fields, with distant views towards the dunes and sea beyond.
