MORE than 1,000 people have registered interest in new homes being built in Hawarden.

 

In response to the demand, Castle Green Homes will release selected properties at its Gladstone Grange development “off plan” soon.

 

The 27.33-acre site on Gladstone Way was allocated for housing in the Flintshire Local Plan.

 

Castle Green secured detailed planning for 300 homes in the summer.

 

Along with housing, the development will deliver a total of £1,567,000 of investment in the local community via section 106 contributions agreed during the planning process. This will include contributions of £625,000 to Hawarden Village School and £942,000 to Hawarden High School.

Gladstone Grange will offer 195 private sale homes, in a choice of two, three and four-bedroom semi-detached and detached designs.

 

There will also be 105 affordable homes in a mix of tenures.
