St Tydfil Shopping Centre is delighted to be bringing GeekedFest to Merthyr Tydfil for the very first time on Saturday 1st June.
As part of the shopping centre’s monthly pop-up markets, GeekedFest will feature stalls from Newport-based comic era artist Alex Milne, licensed merchandiser of Disney, Game of Thrones, and Funko memorabilia Sin City Comics, jewellery maker Shrinking Violet Jewellery whose pieces are inspired by the likes of Harry Potter and Nightmare Before Christmas, and Origin Funk who will be bringing anime accessories and clothing.
Visitors will also be able to browse hand-decorated ceramics and glassware from Transparent Treasures, collectible items with a horror twist by From The Shadows, accessories, costume items, plushies and bags which have a fantasy theme from Merthyr-based Crefftau Hendy Gifts & Crafts, as well as a stall featuring nostalgic toys and collectibles.
The shopping centre will also be welcoming steel pan group Duo-Flex who will be adding some entertainment to the day by playing modern and traditional songs on steel pans.
