Trendy Tots Baby Boutique, which has a store in St Tydfil Shopping Centre, is celebrating after being named Bespoke Retailer of the Year at the Welsh Independent Retail Awards 2019 on Tuesday 30th April.
The awards celebrate independent retailers from across Wales for serving and enhancing their local communities, acknowledge the contribution they make to the country’s overall economy, and recognise the people who own smaller outlets, which are often overshadowed by larger retailers.
All finalists had been nominated by customers, and in the Bespoke Retailer of the Year category, Trendy Tots Baby Boutique was shortlisted alongside 10 other retailers from across Wales.
Leanne Smith, Owner, commented:
“We are completely shocked to have won the award, but extremely proud to have been recognised by the Independent Retail Awards. I’ve always loved beautiful clothing, but found it difficult to find lovely pieces for my three children at affordable prices, which is why I created Trendy Tots Baby Boutique two years ago.
“I’d like to say a huge thank you to my team for all their hard work, and to our customers for nominating us for the award; without their support we wouldn’t be able to continue to grow the range of clothing we offer.”
