Cardiff locals are in for a treat this month as The Pen & Wig launches its mouth-watering new food and drink menu!

Located on Park Grove, the much-loved pub has seen a complete menu overhaul, with high quality produce and fresh flavours at the heart of the new dishes. From succulent 21-day matured steaks to responsibly sourced fish and farm-fresh vegetables, each treat will tempt food lovers.

Welcoming a whole host of new starter plates, customers can feast on tender Glazed Chicken Skewers marinated in a mango, chilli and pineapple dressing, perfectly cooked Mini Baked Camembert with lightly toasted bloomer bread and caramelised red onion chutney, or a Seafood Platter with a selection of crispy whitebait, scampi tacos, mini prawn cocktail, calamari sticks, mackerel pate and sliced Scottish smoked salmon.

If that’s not enough to whet your appetite, the showstopping main dishes definitely will be. Look forward to trying the Grilled Hake Supreme that comes served with buttery mash, succulent king prawns, mussels, cockles and soybeans in a garlic & herb butter, the Monterey Jack & Honey Glazed Bacon Burger, or the Pea and Mint Tortellini, which is drizzled with a lemon and elderflower dressing… The Bell is set to become the go-to for occasion meals and friendly catchups alike.

Those with a sweet tooth can finish things off the with Tarte Aux Pommes, a classic French-style apple tart accompanied by sweet salted caramel sauce, vanilla ice cream and a jug of creamy custard. The Espresso Chocolate Brownie is another fantastic choice, scattered with crushed Biscoff biscuit crumbs and marshmallows.

With a new range of signature serves, The Pen & Wig has a drink for everybody. From the tangy and fruity Oranges & Melons, the sweet and sophisticated Palace Garden Party, the delicately sweet Summer Highball, the wonderfully spiced Cuban Ginger Rich or zingy Ultimate Vodka Lime Soda, taste is guaranteed! And let’s not forget the cocktail classics such as Passionfruit Martini, Espresso Martini and Aperol Spritz.
