Speaking in response to the Chancellor’s confirmation of a £120m pledge to push forward with agreeing the basis of a North Wales Growth Deal, Gwyn Jones, Managing Director at Macbryde Homes, said:


“Whilst there was great anticipation that the North Wales Growth Deal might have received greater profile in yesterday’s Budget, the confirmed funding to move it forward to the next stage should, nonetheless, be welcomed. 

“Demand for the properties that we’ve developed across North Wales in recent years has been phenomenal and demonstrates the burgeoning nature of the region’s economy.  Yet there is still much further growth to be realised and a Growth Deal, once fully confirmed, will ensure that momentum isn’t lost.  We will eagerly await further details in the coming weeks and months.

“There is already significant demand for quality, affordable housing across North Wales and continued growth across the region will add to this.  We will, therefore, continue to identify sites for development that meet local demand and work closely with planning departments to ensure that we’re able to deliver the homes that the people of North Wales so desperately need.”
